Our Philosophy:

We believe in being "in tune" with nature and we believe in the Golden Rule. We don’t abuse our land, nor our livestock. We don’t take short cuts for the sake of efficiency- if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing right. We don’t breed for size, rapid growth, or any other commercially derived attribute. We value cattle that are hardy, calve easily, nurse reliably, and have gentle dispositions. We sell only Black Angus cattle, born and reared on our own ranch.

Our cattle are raised on natural Colorado prairie, enclosed in spacious, well fenced pastures. They are given supplement grain nightly and high quality hay as needed during the winter months. They have constant access to fresh well water. The cattle are provided shelter that protects them from wind, rain, snow, and all other inclement weather.

Our cattle are never enclosed in congested, filthy feedlots. We do not over graze our pastures. We do not use food additives, growth hormones or anitbiotics. 

As a result, we believe our cattle provide truly superior beef than that which can be obtained at a grocery store, or other high production feedlot cattle operation. Our cattle truly are "all natural" and the proof is in the quality, texture and taste of their meat.

We provide a number of ways to purchase our Black Angus Beef:

We offer calves and yearlings that can be purchased and leased back to us for raising under the conditions described above.

Adult cattle may be purchased and processed immediately.

Special requests, such as the purchase of a half or quarter, may also be accommodated.

Individual, preprocessed packages of hamburger, steaks and roasts are sometimes available.

Shipping policy: We do not ship our beef, but we work with Eastern Plains Natural Foods to have our beef packaged and shipped throughout the United States.

Our cattle are processed by a state registered and licensed, family operated, country butcher.

Because of the small, family run nature of our cattle operations, we prefer to deal with each customer on an individual basis. Consequently, we do not have generic ordering forms. For more information and availability, please email us or call us at (303) 644-4079.
